Designed for Tuhaf Etki, Koç University Press's contemporary fiction series, the project establishes a flexible visual identity across a growing collection of books while preserving the individuality of each title. The series brings together forgotten works, overlooked publications and newly commissioned texts that share an unconventional literary voice, forming an alternative map of modern Turkish literature.
Rather than treating each volume as an isolated object, the design develops a coherent editorial system encompassing series identity, cover design and interior layouts. Consistent typographic principles and a restrained visual language create continuity across the collection while allowing every book to retain its own character, resulting in a recognisable publishing programme that grows through variation rather than repetition.
